Could the same effect not be achieved with a midi LFO? Theres also a lemur template called robot knobs or something similar, double tap and it records the movement and keeps replaying it, assign to a cc and there you have it. This is sort of the idea behind the OP1s brickshaft attatchment, for use with the lego motor
