In lieu of demo tracks, could you maybe string together some of the samples, just to hear the general sound?
I’ve been working on it since yesterday as it happens…
The only problem is, I have a concussion, which for a lot of people has long-lasting effects, and I’ve been unlucky in just that way so mental effort comes at a price. (I’ve been getting slowly better.)
I’m currently thinking, a long track just going through all the drum sounds on a simple clave while I noodle on the keys with some of the chromatic sounds. Put that and the cover art into a YouTube video with chapters for each pack.
I also have some pretty nice patterns I made ages ago while I was developing the sounds, which I think would be best expanded into full tracks, but just the thought of making 10 tracks (one for each of the full-size packs) makes my head zap.
Any thoughts…?
Sorry to hear about that, one of my closest colleagues is also suffering such after-effects.
Yes, I think one long track for the mega-pack would be fine! Then people can buy based on the overall sound, and explore the individual packs themselves.
