Am I right in thinking that the sequencer doesn’t record note length/note off on audio tracks? I’ve been looking around but the only thing I can find is a workaround of adjusting/p-locking length to each note. Way too clunky… Am I missing something obvious?
Also what’s the deal with samples continuing to spill over when change patterns? is there not a way to kill everything that isn’t sequenced on new pattern? without having to put a 0 volume trig down on things I want to stop when the new pattern starts?
You can make some adjustments (when changing Part, not Pattern) of:
[ul]
[li] the default behaviour, using the ‘Silence Tracks’ setting in the PROJECT > CONTROL > SEQUENCER menu)[/li]
[li]the behaviour for each track, using the ‘Start Silent’ setting in the Pattern Settings menu[/li]
[/ul]

Thanks. Would be useful to have this option available for pattern switching too, in addition to switching parts where I guess it’s more commonly required. I haven’t even reached the stage where I’ve got more than one part yet but will keep this in mind.
Yup … it’s a step sequencer at heart.

Damn, thats a shame. Seems strange that I can record note length when using OT to sequence external synth, but not when I’m doing internal sequencing… Guess there’s a lot of little nuances under the hood tho that restrict a few things in odd ways.
