Hey I’m looking for any experiences with MD sequencing an analog kick drum (or any other synths) and running it through the MD external inputs?
Does it sound good or do you need a mixer because the MD doesn’t handle it well?
good is subjective and will be mostly impacted by your gain staging.
the audio inputs go through the standard MD machine parameters including the multimode filter/EQ/distortion etc.
There also options for a envelope and filter follower machines.
All of this (plus becoming part of master FX/EQ/Compression) will add the MDs unique flavour to any sound input.
as a straight thru we’re talking 44.1kHz, 24-bit D/A and A/D converters.
