Audio note in during playback

Hi guys, I’m encountering an issue with my Octatrack (MKI) where MIDI notes intended to trigger slices stop functioning correctly during playback. Here are the details of my setup and the problem:

Setup:

  • Ableton Live: Sending MIDI notes to the Octatrack to trigger slices.
  • Octatrack MIDI Settings:
    • AUDIO NOTE IN set to MAP/TRACK.
  • MIDI Clock Sync: Ableton is the master, and Octatrack is set to receive MIDI clock and transport commands.

Issue:

  • When playback is initiated, the Octatrack stops triggering slices via MIDI notes sent from Ableton.
  • Disabling MIDI transport receive on the Octatrack allows the slices to trigger correctly but prevents the sequencer from starting.
