So im trying to use the internal effects like distortion coming out of ableton and into the A4 and then routed back in to ableton. I have all the settings on both the daw and in a4mk2 correct as far as I can see. I have the outputs 3&4 dedicated to the main mix and when headphones plugged into the output of 3 or 4 I have sound. when I run the A4 with an infinite note, using a saw wave I get a continuous tone in the daw. When selecting the input for L/R I have no sound. I have also gone into the FX track and put both of the L/R volumes up yet I still get no sound coming into the A4…??? Any ideas what step I may be missing?
And now ive tried with the syntakt and still the same issue…no sound coming into and out of both of the electron devices…
Edit: Ive figured it out…outputs 3 & 4 needed to be set to DAW through on the audio interface software
