Audio from delay travelling into next pattern?

Could some one point me in the right direction in regards to delayed audio travelling into the next pattern that is part of an arrangement, it cuts off with the pattern change and I would like to know if you can have the audio tail from the delay travel into another pattern?

What setting do you have for the SILENCE TRACKS setting in the PROJECT > CONTROL > SEQUENCER menu?
