Hmm OK so my OT definitely has some bugs. I’ve proven that so far. Now when something goes wrong I’m less likely to simply blame my own ignorance
Anyhow, what is this? I have a sequence on the MIDI track controlling an external synth, I go to the audio tracks so I am out of the MIDI tracks.
I move an encoder like pitch and the MIDI track transposes… Why is it that my audio track encoders are effecting my MIDI tracks???
Also, what does it mean when the lights by the audio tracks flash? Sometimes they flash in unison, sometimes sequentially, sometimes the first three tracks, sometimes all eight.
It only happens with audio tracks, not MIDI tracks, and it happens when no sequence is playing… Curious!
I’m starting a log book of all the little bugs that occur with the OT. I forget them after giving up on fixing them, but they all add up.
This one could totally be user error. Any ideas?
Now that I have sold my MD (sad story but I’ll buy one back soon) I am restricted to the OT as a drum machine sigh
Could it be that you´re using the same MIDI channels for both audio tracks and midi tracks? While possible it would also lead to some confusion…
I think your situation is only possible because your OT transmits to your other synth and then receives its own transmission back via that synth, essentially meaning that your OT controls itself with an “loopback” setup. You could temporarily disconnect the cable to your other synth to confirm, that it is this that´s happening.
Very cool things to be had when you´re using it to your advance though…
In your “control” menu you need to change the “audio cc” setting to “int” not “int/ext”. This means the audio channels will only send midi signals internally. The midi page will still work how you want it.
