when i just recorded a sample inside the OT and want to edit the captured audio, if for example i zoom in with the F knob, then move inside the waveform with Eknob, then want to zoom in again with the F knob, the view of the sample will go back to the beginning of the waveform.
Am I the only one to have this issue.
I just cannot edit my waveform, please help me !
edit : ok forget about this stupid post (i cannot delete it)
edit 2 : well actually not that stupid, I want to be able to check the levels, so i want to zoom in the middle of the sample and when i want to do this, the view returns to the beginning of the sample. Really annoying…
the F knob will always jump to zoom around the area that contains the cursor line (which is controlled by the A knob), which is sensible behaviour imo.
it doesn’t return to the start ,as you say, unless the cursor line is still at the start of the file.
if you wish to avoid losing the part of the file currently visible on the screen when you zoom, use the A knob to navigate to the point of interest inside the file and the E and F knobs in combination to position the waveform where you want it on the screen at the correct zoom level for your requirements.
in other words just move the cursor to the middle of the sample with the A knob before you zoom…
