ATTN: Buchla Easel Owners! What 200 module is most missing?

So I’m think of picking up the admittedly less attractive “Modern Easel” for functional reasons and I was wondering what I should fill that extra space with. Anyone willing to give their recommendations? Spent a good amount of time with the Arturia plug, so I’m not really looking for “spend some time with it first and see what you feel it needs” answers. Mostly because I’m pretty unfamiliar with the rest of the modules and don’t know which would best contribute.

I remember Marc Doty emphasizing that the 291e Triple Morphing Filter would be an especially good choice in some old SuperBooth or KnobCon video, but he didn’t really get a chance to explain why.

I got a retro easel without additional module slots and Im not missing any module. Its a fairly complete instrument that resisted the test of time. yes it has no hard sync, no delay, but hey borders and limitations force you 2b creative :).

What I found usefull is an Endorphines plus 3 as a sustain switch and a radial Engineering Pro D2 DI-Box, to prevent the humming of a ground loop when recording. The retro version has no eurorack converters, but a disting from expert sleepers does the job as well.

I ended up getting 2 different time based modules, but can only fit one at a time.

A DIY version of the Sputnik and a CMP by 1979, which is a Clouds module. Been using the CMP more.
