Life changing… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Glad I could help. I think the manual pages 142-144 (summary of button combinations) holds a few potential gems for each of us. But only if you/we truly understand the functions.

I recently realized myself, what a massive amount of work that quickly can get accomplished by using all the different button combinations utilizing Rec(Copy), Play(Clear) and Stop(Paste) properly. Not only for patterns. But scenes, tracks, track pages etc.

Just looking thru the summary button combinations regarding another combo right now, and trying it out. I found that even when you have an flex playing an sample on track 1, you can still manually record something into recorder buffer 1. Including Source 3 being: track 1. No interrupt of playback.

So, if you quickly would like to record some gradual changes (LFO, Fader etc) of a track. To save it into an separate sample. It is right there. And if you have set the lenght in the recorder correct, it will record for the time duration and then stop recording. Still while the flex track continues to play. Save it, assign it to another flex and start using it. And the flex track still playing the original. Amazing opportunity right there…
