Okay, so you’re jamming away, and have programed a long progression (with the help of 1/8 track multyplier for example), and would like to record a long solo over that. The transcription of the 1/8 multiplier to regular patterns can be a bother, but that’s where the arranger mode offset comes to the rescue.
copy the existing pattern to 3 new locations (i used a progression 256 steps long so i used 4 patterns 64 steps length)
chain them up in arranger mode, and use the offset value.
for example
a01 - off 0 len 64 (the len parameter tells it how long it will play, regardless of the offset)
a02 - off 64 len 64
a03 - off 128 len 64
a04 - off 192 len 64
This will result in the progression playing out as intended, looping indefinetly, and you can record your solo over it for the entire length. no need to adjust the long sequences to match the patterns!
Only minor issue is not being able to edit the whole recording at once but via the assigned patterns. Which can also be a plus.
terrific, must investigate arranger for the creative options, rather than arranging as such

I often use this approach to edit 4 bar patterns, using a ‘Loop x infinity’ row below each line
