Arpeggiator Setup Makes First 2 Trigs Flashing?

Hello everyone,

I have an issue where when I go to the Arp Setup of a MIDI track, it correctly shows the length of the Arp with the trigs lit up as green. Adjusting the Arp length changes the number of lit green trigs.

However, the first two trigs are flashing on and off back and forth and disabling the first two trigs causes there to be no sound.

It’s as if the pattern length for the Arp is stuck at 2 steps long.

What does it mean when in the Arp Setup and the first two trigs are flashing red or green (depending if they are enabled or disabled), but all other trigs (2-16) are solid green. Why are they flashing?

Also, when I change the pattern length to 16 steps (1 page) the first two Arp trigs stop flashing.

However, if I set the pages to 2 or 3 or 4, and then go back to Arp setup, the first two trigs are flashing again.

What is going on?

Flashing green leds are played notes. Check NOTE page LEN, and don’t put notes too close if you want to play the whole Arp sequence.

Ex : If ARP SETUP LEN is 8, place a trig on step 1 and step 9, and set NOTE LEN to 1/2 or above.

Yes, that is exactly how I have it setup. Note LEN is set to 96 (which is 1/1 for some reason?) so it is a length of 1.

Trig on 1 and 8.

If I have pages set to 1, then the first two trigs don’t flash in the Arp setup.
If I increases pages to 2, 3 or 4, the first two trigs flash in the Arp setup.

It never plays more than the first two notes. It never ever flashes on trigs 3-16, so it seems it is only ever playing the first two trig notes and then repeating? Doesn’t make sense…

Never mind… you were right. I was trigging the Arp too many times causing it to restart over and over.

Thanks for your help. Cheers.

have the same problems not more than 8 trigs playing. What determines the number of notes being played?

now i’m aware its depending on the speed value set in the arp menu speed 12 plays only 8 and spedd 6 plays 16.
