Arpeggiator "polyphony mode" bug?

The question on arpeggiator polyphonic mode.
KIT setup menu: enable all 4 voices in “poly config”, the “allocation” doesn’t matter, but NOT the “unison”.
ARP Setup menu: set the MOD to “PLY” in ARP Setup menu. To see the bug set some large value of the SPD of the arrpegiator (e.x. SPD = 40), just to arpeggiate very slowly.
The Polyphonic mode of the arpeggiator according the documentation: “PLY will arpeggiate a complete chord (POLYPHONY must be activated, see page 18)
in the same way an individual note is arpeggiated in TRU mode”.

So all the chord must arpeggiate, but when you press for e.x. all 3 notes on the mini keyboard - then for the very first time you will hear only 1 note, not the all chord, and after this one note the whole chord will arpeggiate how it should. But for the first time pressing the chord you will hear only one note, not all the chord. Is it a bug ? :disappointed:

I brought it to their attention about a year ago, I think the verdict was that the arpeggiation starts at the instant you trig the first note, so it hasn’t had time to collect the others, it’s not considered a bug, but I agree it’s annoying, but it’s not an issue sequenced, right! Make peace with it as I don’t think you can ask them to introduce latency on the off chance you hit a chord (and yes I know other instruments do better at this)

Do you use a default “Customer zone → Support” form at elektron.se to inform the elektron about bugs ? Will try to re-register this bug once again, will see what will be the answer, cause it’s really annoying bug, you are right :frowning:

by all means ask, i suspect you’ll get the same answer or similar, it does make sense what they said, so i don’t see it changing for live keying, unless you expect them to introduce latency !
