High pass filter.
What does this mean? Sorry for my lack of understanding
I only had a quick look at the two synths, and one had a high pass filter which would make sounds you couldn’t make on the other one.
But it sounds like your new to subtractive synthesis so a synth like these would be a great way to learn.
