Arp not stopping

hi foks ans MM enfisionados :stuck_out_tongue:

I have the mono slaved to OT and when pressing stop on OT the Arp from the MM keeps running … I need to press stop twice on the OT to stop it.

when I have ableton as the master I seem to not be able to stop the MM arp at all, I need to press stop on the MM …

any ideas how I would be able to stop the arp ?

thanks for all suggestions!

if you trig anything that will repeat infinitely from one trig instance you need to kill the sound
single stop
and quick double stop
both provide standard but differing midi messages
the latter is required to kill sustaining sounds
the former to stop notes being trigged

it’s a complete pain with looping samples on the AR as they carry on thru a track mute (only the trig) and it’d be nice to have a key combo to kill sound per track, without just disabling the individual sound engine (i.e. loop switch) or decay on another example

i don’t have mm, but it should be same solution

thanks for the insight avantronica!

This exact MM arp problem/feature has kept me up late several nights!
Simply because when I say to myself that now I’m done jamming and press stop on the octatrack, the monomachine continues. This leads to an awesome break in the jam and I now have to do some tweaking on the monomachines filters and then I can’t resist pressing play on that octatrack again to bring in the beat.
And then it all repeats

Hahaha - that has happened to me!

I just began playing with the arp for the first time yesterday,
this is good to know.
