Hi there,
is there any way to download the original factory presets/samples (ARMKII) from somewhere (eg Elektron website)?
I have the feeling that I deleted some files in the Transfer app, but I am not entirely sure (are they in the folder “Analog Rytm”)?
Apologies if this has somehow been dealt with, but I couldn’t find it in the search function.

The factory sounds are write-protected and stored in the factory folder.
I see. Unfortunately, there is no factory folder shown in the Transfer app.
Just by chance, do you know how to retrieve the factory folder?
By some weird coincidence I have two factory folders on my Rytm, it somehow became duplicated (or at least the regisitry entry is duplicated) last time I was attempting to transfer some single cycle waveforms. I tried copying to the pc and deleting one of the factory folders and permission was denied as it’s marked as write protected. I suppose you are going to have to contact customer support or maybe save all your projects and sounds and try a factory reset. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
Hihi, sounds strange indeed :). Thanks so much for your swift reply, your feedback was super helpful. I raised a ticket at Elektron helpdesk. Unfortunately, they do not share the factory folders and insist on a factory reset. I asked for some background information on that, since it would make life much easier - let’s see what they rsay :).
Soooooo…the factory reset has been completed. However, the Transfer app does not update to the current storage status and still shows the old folder status (and thus, also does not show the factory folder). The refresh button in the Transfer app didn’t change that. Does anyone knows who to get the directory in the app up and running again?
To close the loop: After de- and reinstalling the Transfer app, the folders did sync again, wohoo
