I created a directory within a folder of samples with the intention of moving some of the samples to the new directory (for randfom selection in a pattern) . Selected the samplews and then navigated to the new directory> move here. message saying that move is succesful but there are no samples in the folder and no way to exit the folder, only view ram and view + drive which is now the empty directory. Tried deleting the empty directory in transfer but delete failed . Tried to move samples again and had the same thing happen. Now I have a useless folder within a folder that can’t be deleted. What am I doing wrong?
I think this is a bug. I ran into it on firmware 1.71, upgraded to 1.72, but still had the same issue. My solution:
- Backup all samples using Transfer to your computer.
- On the Rytm format the samples drive (not the projects/sounds - that’s a separate drive).
- Copy samples back to Rytm using Transfer on your computer.
