AR vol settings question

Hello,

I dont know what i did.
Bud now with my rytm, when im in mute mode, and i tap on a pad, lets say the BD1.
The volume goes from soft to hard. And i want that the volume stays on the same level at all times.

Sound Settings > VELOCITY TO VOL = OFF

ok i did it and there is no change…

there’s a few unknowns here,

• is the track selected when you change the velocity setting? (just checking)
• is the attack up on the amp envelope? (this might mean your initial press is dampened then the ones after have attack at 0, you’ll need to adjust your hold and decay to taste)
• any LFOs assigned to volume/envs?

yea i changes the attack, bud that works… bud its weird… i was thinking the adsr would effect the induvidual sound… like it normal does…
so its fixed… so i think i didnt understand the adsr on the rytm…

Attack?

I’m trying to create some reverse snares, rimshots and hats but the Attack in the Amp section doesn’t seem to be working - not the way it works on the A4 - or anywhere else for that matter… Anyone else having this issue? Either my AR is defective or my brain is! I get a kind-of slower attack if I fiddle with the Hold in conjunction with the Attack but not the slow fade-in I’m looking for

the majority goes through this, but once you’ve become accustomed it (kind of) makes sense.

also i’d suggest you change the thread title to include more info related to your issue to help others in future, or mods add this to the linked or similar thread.

a ok, i will expiriment with the ahd so i will understand it in the future.
