waiting patiently for 4 weeks for an AR, pretty annoying to be honest, but while I wait I am pondering the sample length via trigs and a few other key elektron concepts
i gather a user can trig say a 3 min synth sample and it will play for 3 mins, right? with the sequencer re-triggering the sample after 64 steps …
while the synth 3 min sample is playing a user can manipulate the sample and change the start/time and filtering and so forth, right?
With overall sample manipulation what are some of the unique things a user can do -loop modulation, LFO to start and pitch and filter, granular looping, retrig looping, pad based looping tricks???
Thanks and I hope everyone enjoys their ARs in the holiday period
The total sample RAM is limited to 64MB. In addition to this, I doubt that one could even load up a single 64MB sample to the Rytm? So what you’re asking for might be impossible I’m afraid…
thanks for the reply
the sonicstate video overview suggests a 3 min sample can be played back
can anyone else chime in here please - I am surprised one on here is interested in talking about the sample manipulation on the rythm
maybe everyone is distracted in other threads
You know the same questions have been asked over and over again and if you search the forum you’ll find that a lot of other people have asked very similar questions and they have gotten answers.
as per elektron user the search engine is utterly useless
i have asked also:
With overall sample manipulation what are some of the unique things a user can do -loop modulation, LFO to start and pitch and filter, granular looping, retrig looping, pad based looping tricks???
of course i have read the ‘manual’ but I would like to know how everyone is using sample manip methods individually
elektron devices have always offered a degree of individualism and the elektron forums have always offered user specific advice
