yea quite certain about this…
it has a simplicity to it which makes it easy to explain the thing to non-initiated… hit the pads, a beat comes out…
no complicated “you just have to load that into the track and then… hey! where are you going!”

analog master bus compression and distortion is GREAT. wondering what the circuit is… but this saves some potential additional processing.

Yeah, you’re probably right. Seeing as the MD can sample, it would be a bit weird if this one couldn’t.
YEAH!!! this thing is beyond expectations (at least mine). Time to start saving. I think the specialized drum voices were the right way to go (as compared to generic ones that could be sculpted). And individual outs sealed it for many people. The only possible complaint left: the pads are too small or on the left - doesn’t bother me in the least.
The only thing left is to listen to the sounds now.

Forget it- Canadian dollar is now bellow 90cents USD add 13% HST and it’s going to be at least $1950 CDN ( at a minimum ) - that’s getting into Tempest territory price wise.
same… unfortunately the only thing I could sell would be the MDUW+, which now definitely looks like it’s a keeper despite of the AR…
they are really placing the AR quite cleverly in between the other machines…
however, there still is some time before it hits the shelves eh?
Q1 meaning shipping before April? So there’s still 2-3 months before it hits distributors at the very least, but i’m sure these will be faster to put together (and easier to ship larger quantities) than the AK.
Analog Keys is also back in stock online through Elektron so I’m guessing everyone who’s waiting will be sorted out in the next 2 weeks.
