Actually, if you’ve ever tried a few tracks with different lengths, you’d know that having them reset all together at any point in time, whether after 4 bars, or 64, can be very noticeable. It doesn’t matter how not often they reset, but what matters is that they DO reset.
In any case, that wasn’t the point of this thread, I am aware of many workarounds. I was concerned about the fact you mentioned this may never be fixed, and the fact that you used Overbridge as an excuse for not taking care of more pressing matters.
I appreciate the time you took to check out the project. And also your discussion here.
Regarding other conditions of the bug, I have had some weird timing issues still, even after using a fixed length. They may have been glitches, but I’ll see if I can create a project that displays that.
Finallly, my main concern still is with Overbridge being built on non solid foundations. I know nothing about creating these instruments, and therefore I assume a lot, and I’m thinking that a lot of my assumptions are very wrong. I’ll stop assuming then, and try and trust the fact that Elektron will get it together
