AR/A4 power supplies the same?

are they the same? The specs on the power supplies are the same but people seem to have issues with mixing elektron power supplies.

No they are not the same.
A4/AR are 12V DC 2.5A max draw
MD MM OT 6V DC 3.5A max draw

Yes, they ARE the same, AR and A4 power supplies…

Shit, sorry I should have been clearer, yeah A4 & AR are interchangeable, but the issues you refer to come from mixing with the MD, MM, & OT PSU.

Yeah the A4 and Rytm power supplies are the same and work fine for both. I use one of them (I don’t even know if it came from the A4 or the Rytm initially) whenever I take either of the boxes in my backpack to the coffee shop. The other power supply is almost permanently plugged into the wall at home, ready for either to be hooked up.
