Here’s a track I’ve been working on today, 3 Patterns on the AR and one on the A4, which is also sequencing the modular, triggering the TipTop 808 kick and two bass sounds. The A4 is only acting as a sequencer and FX processor for the modular. The only sound it is actually generating is a noisy snare layer. All the other sounds come from the AR. Very few edits after the fact. I used a few 500 series compressors for a few of the sounds, and mix bus compression and EQ. I also used a strymon Deco and lexicon 300 for fx processing.

Very interesting sounds. I Like the organic feel of it. Cool, are you also audio processing the AR with modular. Or does the modular makes only its own sounds?
The clap felt a little simple in the mix and not loud enough thou.
cool, agree w/ noxical that it has a great organic feel to it. probably needs some eq’ing/mixing at some point if you can do so and keep the overall vibe.
Hey guys! Thanks for listening. Unfortunately I had to take the studio apart for a live show, so I never got a chance to multitrack this one. I could redo it with a different modular synth patch, but it may wind up too different to even be the same track, so I think it’s staying as is. I love doing these quick tracks, not really bothering to over think and process things.
