In terms of architecture the Octatrack is probably one of the closer machines.
It has 8 tracks which you can assign a machine to.
You can assign a neighbour machine to a track next to an audio track to allow fx stacking .
The digital fx are related more to that era than modern Elektrons.
You have 3 lfos per track ( so with a neighbour you can have 6 lfo influencing the source tracks audio via fx or amp parameters)
Then you can further become creative via scenes, crossfader and parts.
I use mine stacked with monomachine samples and single cycle waveforms from the mnm machines.
Its NOT a monomachine but by god you can do some crazy monomachine sounding stuff with it 🫠
