I’m a long time Rytm mki user since it’s release and am experiencing unreliable function of the encoders, has anybody swapped them for something more durable and could recommend an alternative?
Sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn’t find the thread while searching.
The encoders are metal, the knobs are plastic. If you are experiencing issues you probably need to get the encoders replaced on the circuit board. Changing encoders requires using the correct and same part. Changing the knobs wont make a difference other than how they look and feel to touch.
I may have used the wrong term, as my DN has the metal shaft that connects to the knob feels much more sturdy than the plastic of the Rytm.
Your mk1 uses older parts. But you need to replace like for like.
