Anyone running the Digiface + Pulse 16 combo?

Curious how you all are liking it. It seems like the most cost effective way to get a high quality 32 i/o setup. I don’t need mic preamps on my interfaces, I have no problem buying 1 pre separately to run a mic into.

Any issues with the digiface and a silicone machine (doubtful)? Any issues at all?

Does Ferrofish let you drive it’s levels through Totalmix? Some ADAT expansions can do that and some can not.

Also any alternatives in the market?

Update - Ended up getting them. I can’t find a higher rated duo than this unless I go up substantially in price and move to MADI.

MOTU lp32. 32x32 adat. This also give you 16 channels of AVB which I have used extensively on Mac’s

If you need fewer channels….
Minidsp usbstreamer….

8x8, and you’re limited to 2 on a Mac so 16x16 (because you have to put an firmware on each device to identify them, and they only supply your with 2)

Personally I loved using MOTU AVB, so in that MOTU box you get both 32 adat + the AVB.
And it’s class compliant, unlike the digiface. Minidsp is also class compliant.

Yeah motu is sweet. I just realized that I am hooked on RME. Not class compliant but the drivers are so solid.
