Anyone playing on Nodal?

I just found out about the program a couple days ago and found it interesting. Generative music software, cheap($30 after trial), sends midi, and appears to have CC parameters.

I just played around with the trial software last night. Very cool.

If it’s anything like a Zillion it will be very useful!

I haven’t heard of a zillion! Will check out!

Oh yeah baby!

Whoa, that looks interesting and fun! I’ve seen one every once in awhile in someone’s setup pics but never knew what it did…
Nodal looks like maybe a cheap way to get a taste…

I’m still trying to find a way to get comfortable but I imagine sending it to your external synths will be VERY satisfying(also with the cc per step)

Refreshing this topic, because I finally began to understand Nodal today.

I’ve been playing around with it a bit, it’s pretty fun:)

It’s a little daunting starting out, you see people making crazy intricate compositions in it.

But after developing a loop the ideas just keep coming for various branches.

I don’t know your skill level, but I’m definitely a beginner

I’m new to it as well. I haven’t really had the time to dig deep yet but I’m pretty excited about it. I thought I was having some sync issues at first but after playing around I realized one pattern I had made was looping just a bit behind the others because of one node. There was a similar app on the iPad if I remember correctly but I never clicked with it, this one seems great.
