The one that I don’t think’s been mentioned is that most music has a self life. It’s good for a while and then it fades away. The really good stuff sticks around for months, days, years, and decades.

I will listen to a track I made, that I really like, for a little while and I’m then I’m usually done. But as someone else in this thread mentioned, I’ve listened to so much house and techno over the last almost 30 years (I’m 47), I’ve kind of heard it all. There are classics I still listen to, but not the way I listen to other genres of music.

Also, it should be noted, DJ tracks don’t always get to the point in a timely fashion when you’re driving 15 minutes to the gym, the store, or a friends house…and who wants to listen to “radio” edits of techno and house jams…seriously :slight_smile:
