Anybody infron of their A4 neighbor track question

i am on track 4
osc 1 OFF
osc 2 nei … lev 80

I assume if I play a note on the mini keys I should not hear a sound because osc1 is off and osc2 is set to neighbor …

but I do hear the vanilla sound (edit: keytracking is off …only plays 1 note when hitting the mini keys)

why?

I want a drone on track 1 and only use the fx from track 2 + 3 +4 (plus their lfos)

The neighbour oscillator is tapping the current sound that would leave the Amp if you pressed a key on track 3 … it needn’t be heard to act as a neighbour source

Note, the track 3 sound is taken pre-fx, so the neighbour osc on track 4 is dry

A drone on track 1 can excite the filters/drive of tracks 2 > 3 and 4 which can only send their own squelches to the sole fx if the tracks are triggered … it’ll be stacked filtering by the time it gets to 4
