Anybody got 3D printable deck saver files?

I googled it but I’m on my phone. I’d like some knob protectors but $50+ is too much for plastic. I already bought sweet pelican cases. A deck saver knock off would be sweet.

Can’t help with the question, however I emailed decksaver last night about some products, and they shared that the reason they don’t sell a digitakt or analog heat lid, is because they make them for elektron.

Quite cool I thought, as I find the quality very good.

Reviving this thread. There are a few on thingiverse but not many.

Anyone have any models they could share?

A buddy of mine has been wanting decksavers for his Roland 707 and tr8s. Bonus points for those!

I doubt you’ll find much. Most are too big for the majority of 3D printers out there. Plus the cost/savings work vs quality isn’t a huge enough gap for someone to want make those.

You’d be better off carving or assembling a wood block shape and melting a plastic sheet over for a diy deck saver.

True in many cases I’m sure. I spent $10 printing one for my Digitakt and it’s fantastic though. Smaller box, yes, but a great alternative in my mind.

This mixer cover might be a good alternative

My Amazon history shows that I bought two of the Gator 61-76 key covers and an 88. The 88 must have been for the EX5 (which was a tight fit), and the 61-76 was a bit tight on the Z1 and Virus TI, so the mixer cover should be workable, if a bit lumpy, on the Elektrons.

Alternately, head down to your local fabric store, buy some stretch fabric and elastic, and get busy with the sewing machine.

If you don’t travel much or play shows, then a sheet works great over your desk. That way, when you are ready to make music, you can pull it away real quick like a magician. And really, who doesn’t like magic?

Yeah, the smaller stuff makes more sense.
