Any workaround to make OT midi notes slide?

I currently prefer programming patterns for my xoxbox on the OT’s midi track. However I can’t figure out how if it’s possible to make midi notes slide on the OT. There’s slide trigs for regular track but not for midi.

Does anyone know if there is a trick to workaround this?

Use two midi tracks set to the same midi channel, then create notes that overlap.

Or use one MIDI track, and set legato on on the Arp page. Then note length will determine which notes slide.
