yep, thats the way it should work. but the implementation is a bit … messy i would say. if - for example - you wanna create a nice fade in via attack and you have hold on auto the Rytm ignores that attack in a lot of cases. I dunno why but sometimes it takes it and sometimes it doesnt. Setting Hold to Auto makes the Envelope work as expected again. And the Sound will move into the Release phase when you release the Pad (or Note Length is reached) anyway, so Hold is usually not needed. Just work with longer Decay then.

The reason Auto does not react to some hits is regulatedmby that trigs hold time in the trigger page. You can set it to a shorter value there as well for shorter sounds with the auto setting.
One more thing to keep in mind, is that the envelope needs to finish its course before the next trigger, otherwise it does not start from 0, that is why there are clicks wih the attack values > 0 in some cases.

Make use of the velocity mod page, Function + Sound > Sound Settings > Velocity Mod.

Thanks for the great feature ! I didn’t noticed this menu yet and it’s quite useful to make sequences more organic. So many cool tricks on this thread for any AR users.
