Ableton is a daw, so to keep the latency low, the best “Trick” is to avoid any efx in live (also on other Tracks then the recorded One)… As soon as you Start to use plug ins the latency will grow bigger and bigger… So its about Recording all Tracks “clean” and then add efx… Otherwise your only Choice is direct Monitoring with a soundcard…
