Anolog Rythm audio to Anolog 4 input

Hey peoples, first post here,

Just need some advise on connecting my two Elektron devises together.
Midi sync is all good, I am just wanting to send the audio from my rythm to A4 so I can compose using both devises without needing to interface to a computer, I have tried just using two standard patch cables from the R/L of the Ryhm to the R/L input of the A4. But not getting any of the rythm’s sound in the A4 which I am monitoring with headphones.

Can some one advise were the input signal is being routed to in the A4 and how I go about receiving audio?

Cant seem to find it in the manual.

Cheers

Sorry, false alarm, I worked it out!

Input is received through the fx track, the input just need to be brought up! oops

Try the other way around as well. There’s a lot of goodness having the Analog Four hitting the analog Rytm compressor.

You can also use the Rytm input going into one of your A4’s 4 synth tracks, as an oscillator. You choose it under the waveform type knob in the OSC section. This way you can hit it with some filter/envelope love.

This technique is used more with other synths going into the A4, but I like running drums through it as well.

Cheers guys, loving this simple workflow, being out of ableton is super refreshing…
