can i set a “track” to a certain scale ? Like setting track 1 to G Major for example?
Unfortunately not. I would love to see an option to colour pads in a scale a specific colour (or brightness) to those out of scale.

How long, can the longest sample be, that i play from the RYTM ? Idea is to have a backing track playing.
The sample ram is 64mb. The AR is mono (16 bit 48kHz) so you got about 11 minutes of playback. However I would say the AR is far from a playback machine, just thinking of transferring 64mb using sysex makes the (few) hairs on my head turn grey.
And yeah you can record midi into the sequencer.
so the scale can’t be changed at all? you’re stuck with those intervals? that’s a bummer

I really would like scales for chromatic mode, as I’m using just AR and A4 and I’d like to use the pads on AR to program basslines etc in both AR and A4. Should be possible pretty easily, yeah?
An update like that is my # 1 xmas wish!!!

Pretty much this, I’d much rather Elektron focus on making a good drum machine.
I’m sure it would be quite easy to implement tho as a feature…come on elektron

Which MPC has a scale mode for the pads? I know you can customize each programs’ pad note numbers, but that hardly counts as a “scale” IMO…
Scale modes would be awesome. They are brilliant on the new Maschine 2.2 and Push. That being said the analog side of the AR can’t track pitch properly so I’d like to see that fixed first.
