I have a track with 31 patterns in it and each pattern has it’s own kit. All the kits are saved but it is extremly tedious to have to individually save 31 kits before I can save the project. Is there a way to save all kits? Or any means to saving a project with integrity that doesn’t involve a huge amount of administration?
I work in a similar flow and when I switch to a new pattern I save the kit and then create a new for the new pattern, it’s 2 seconds extra but never failed me.
there’s also a shortcut to save a kit with YES + PLAY
if you go through the patterns you can quickly save the kits, but honestly it’s worth just saving as soon as you start a new pattern, it’s almost at a reflex level for me at this point.
my guess is that there’s no “save all kits” as a protection measure to prevent accidentally overwriting kits, so making a habit of saving on specific steps of the workflow is something needs to be part of the routine…
Yeah I know the short cut and my music flow by necessity is the same as yours. But it just doesn’t really work because ultimately it’s a distraction from the music.
