hey thanks! much appreciated. I wouldn’t say any tips specific to 2 step, aside from the style sorta lends itself to being a bit more frenetic in a live setting with mutes, fills, scenes, performance. No tutorials by I did create and make available a project file / sample pack / brief text earlier this year. cheers!

Thanks so much man! I think the AR will be back in my studio, just need to sell some other stuff.

The reason I sold it was to focus on the s2400 for a while and also the pads on my old grey AR were seriously starting to lack. I might look for a newer black one.

The AR felt like a perfect canvas to paint on, though for samplebased hiphop it was best when used in combination with a second helper sampler like the 404 or sampletrak.

He lets the content of Kasino Records’ latest release speak posthumously for him. This sweaty and ruthlessly compressed music is so much techno techno that it’s almost proto-techno, which is more faithful to techno than techno itself. Before his disappearance, he had given the tapes to a Finnish punk artist, from whom they ended up in the archives of Kasino Records before long.

I am going to make some effort to create only Rytm tracks and Virus TI2 tracks. I believe it possible to create albums of music just with the Rytm. It is really great and next to the Octatrack my favorite Elektron modern device.
