Since updating to 1.71, my Analog Rytm does not completely boot up. When I turn on, the device does the starting animation but gets stuck at the last part ending with “Page” & “Fill” buttons as pink. The screen presents the words Analog Rytm MKII, but does not proceed to booting up completely.
I can access the Startup Menu and have done both Empty Reset and Factory Reset. I have tested all buttons in Test Mode.
I have also successfully re-installed the update using MIDI, however the issue is still there.
Yep, everything appears to be work as expected and is responding.
However I am not sure if trigger one should do this, when I press it shows a white screen, however on all other triggers it states which trigger has been pressed?
yep that’s normal, if you see 0 errors and everything on + (ui/dram/etc.) try contacting support getting downgrade perhaps to 1.70…
maybe for some reason the 1.71 didn’t finish properly and needs to try again or something…
We tried everything we could but have had to send the device off for repair.
If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have updated the Rytm or Digitakt 2 to the recent updates, seems to have caused more bugs than improvements - but that’s just my opinion and experience
Device has been fixed and returned. Have not received an explanation as to why its occurred however the fix was to replace the CPU. Device was returned restored back to v 1.70 so now I am apprehensive to update to 1.71 :’(
well if the hardware issue was fixed then I’d go and update, me and probably a whole lot of other mk2 owners didn’t have any issue updating to 1.71 so it was probably just bad luck, but supposed to be fixed now…
