Hi, welcome to the forum. Someone may be able to speak directly to your circumstance but in the interim if you want to check out the bug reports topic, you may find someone who had a similar experience.
I’d make sure that you’re up to date on the most recent OS and if you already are, it may be worth submitting your own bug report either via the thread that I linked or to elektron directly via their customer support.
It certainly does not sound like a normal behavior.
