Hello guys, I was wondering if any of you use Ableton, Im basically unable to send midi sync on my Rytm when overbridge is enabled, is that normal? in fact it wont even show under midi devices when overbride is enabled, how ever if I disable overbridge Im able to enable sync on ableton and the unit will show under midi devices, any help would be appreciated
You should be able to see Rytm as a MIDI device something like “Analog Rytm (Elektron MIDI)”. You can send sync to that port.
Or you can disable that MIDI clock send and just turn on Overbridge sync under the plugin settings. You can even run both but that will be a mess.
You’ll have to make sure the Rytm is set up to receive MIDI clock too if you use regular clock.
On my setup OB, though it has a pleasingly low and consistent latency, has significantly more jitter than sending clock from Ableton. Maybe that will improve.
if I have the OV enabled the midi device wont show under ableton, and the sync functiom on the ov is terrible, Im using windows 64 bit I should give the 32 bit a shoot, Thanks for your advice
