I’m very proud of this dark-ambient/techno track I made on the Rytm. Playing the compressor like an instrument once the beat starts. Such a cool instrument!

Me too, I’d be curious to hear about the process (How did you arrange it? Multiple patterns? Song Mode? If you played it’s compressor; does that mean you didn’t even multitrack this epic thing?)
Thanks so much for listening! I use dual vcos and LFOs/trigless trigs to create that pulsating drone and slowly open the filter (electric violin/synth/cello to complement the stone) and I make heavy use of the compressor so that once the beat starts, all the percussive elements are competing with the drone/eachother to get that lifeless/brutal breathing sequence going.
