Analog RYTM CB 12

I can’t get any synth voice to come out of CB 12…
When I add the sample track I do get that…
I do get audio form the synth of CY 11 and I believe they share the same voice…
Any thoughts on this riddle???
Cheers,
J…

Is there a synth engine assigned and not none, puls, or nois?
Is the syn parameter turned to 1 in the trig menu?

Maybe this will help…

Check the trigs page and make sure the toggle switch is set to on for synth.

Serious???
Weird…
Does it switch off on it’s own???

Not sure how they are turning off for you… Parameter lock?

You never use your rytm except via overbridge?

I don’t know if it’s in ob but if you use a randomizer like one of the iPad editors or load a patch preset with it switched off, it can happen.
That feature is more trouble than its worth imo. You can plock volume and I’d rather have the real estate for pretty much any other feature.

I like it because you can toggle the two on already existing patterns and switch thing up, like having multiple kits in one. Some trigs may already have plocked volume and this overrides that… If you just had synth volume and turned it down to hear only samples, any vol locked synth trigs would still sound.
There’s also weird interactions that I haven’t fully explored involving sample trigs set to loop, and then turning off sample trigs, with choke tracks… I imagine there’s other sneaky tricks as well.
