Testing Boss ROD-10 with Rytm
It is a nice overdrive/distortion/fuzz- unit with agressive eq I like it very much! Goes well with Rytm and perhaps an good alternative for Analog Heat?

it sounds really nice ! do you use send and return effect ? or directly from the rack ?

Im using it as a send effect. The returning signal comes in to the desk to its own channel and back in to the mix again.

Pleasant sounding, ramps up the mix quiet a bit !
if only it were stereo

You could get two of these units for less than a quarter of what Heat costs

Is the Rytm on board distortion not good? Just curious, no one seems to say much about it.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Rytm’s own distortion/overdrive. I use them all the time myself, but they are much more subtle, much more cleaner sounding than this Boss.
I use Rytm OD/Distortion to get more punch, then this Boss if I want to destroy the signal more heavily.

Neat, the sound is a bit similar to the Classic Dist on the AH.
Seems like a great box for the price!
