Analog Keys Presets

Hi Everybody,

this is my first post and i have a little question about the Analog Keys Presets. I guess you all know the Elektron Jam Session #3 Youtube Video.

I got my Analog Rytm (my first Elektron Gear) a few weeks ago and i really love this machine. Now I´m searching for an analog synthesizer to support the AR.

Question: Are the sounds in this Video Preset-Sounds or custom patches?

I already know the Text at 0:28. My English-Skills are average and I was just wondering about the (technical) meaning of the Word “Derived”.

So the Sounds are Presets which are tweaked with some Effects (Aftertouch, Joystick-FX, etc.) right?

That would be my guess. I would say some but not all sounds were slightly tweaked. As I’m sure you have found with the AR it is hard to not change around the sounds one way or another. The interface invites and encourages this.
