Analog Keys arpeggiator keeps running even when disabled

Title says it all, but I bought a used Analog Keys and have been testing it out the last few days. There are a few unexpected quirks which I’m sure are my fault and not the hardware, but one that’s really bugged me is the arpeggiator.

I’ve currently got the mode set to OFF after having it on for a few minutes, but when I hold a key on Track 1 the arp triggers. Changing the settings of the arp changes the pattern, but I can’t figure out how to simply turn off arpeggiator mode besides setting it to OFF.

Then when I switch to tracks 2-4 there is no arp. I set it to on and hold a key down but it just sustains the note, no arpeggiation. Am I going crazy or is there something wrong here?

Have you checked the AK in stand alone mode, set to a new project and all four tracks set to an initial patch?

If in such case the arp is off on all four tracks, which is supposed to be the case, you might have overseen parameters in that particular track 1.
