I’ve actually come to the conclusion that I don’t need one.
Ironically, I kind of agree with @Castor, I think it could do with a bit of extra modulation and a bit more character.

I’ve never felt it added ‘warmth’ to anything i used them on. I really wanted to like the AH but after 3 units I had to call it a day. I sold my first and bought a Vermona Filter Lancet. Obviously not like for like but the Vermona sounded glorious. And if you want stereo you can currently buy 2 for the same price as an AH.

Has the plus of being the only box I’ve seen with a ‘Balls’ knob
Oto Boum is nice also but I don’t think the distortion tends to be rated as highly as on the AH - I go light on that stuff anyway.
