Hello everyone! My Mac M1 Max recently automatically updated itself to the most recent operating system (Sequoia 15.6.1) and I’ve run into some issues with Overbridge and my Analog Heat MKII.
When I have the AU or VST3 plugin on a audio channel and use the “freeze and flatten” or “Bounce to audio” feature in Ableton 12.2.5, the audio is moved early in the timeline. I’ve linked a short YouTube video here to show what I mean.
I was running Overbridge with the Analog Heat MKII with OS Ventura and had no issues but I figured Id report this bug to help bring awareness.
Both Overbidge and the AH MKII are updated to its most recent versions and is directly connected to my laptop.
When you freeze/bounce in place is it rendering the audio through the Analog Heat? I ask b/c in the video it looks instant where-as rendering through the AH should occur in realtime.
Hi thanks for the suggestion. I sent a ticket to support back in August but I haven’t heard back. Just wanted to post here in case anyone had a similar issue
Yes the bounce in place feature takes the processing of whatever plugins I have on it and prints it into the audio file. I didn’t play the actual audio of the post fx but it definitely has that distorted quality recorded when I was previewing it.
I’ve also tried making a resampling channel to record the output in real time but it it still records with an early offset. Really odd stuff
