I have the Analog Heat and was wondering if it could serve as a reamper by reducing the input gain from a line level signal. Is the output line level? I am trying to use this in front of some boxes that do not play well with line level signals. I am going to get a reamper box but is this unnecessary when using the Heat with reduced input gain? I am trying to figure out gain stages and am
Yes indeed, you can use the clean channel to boost your signal, Drive + Wet Level + Dry/Wet knobs set to max. You shouldn’t add too much distorsion this way.
To be tested, for sure.
What’s your input signal?
I have multiple input sources. A Waldorf Blofeld, the DT and a Novation Peak. I sequence them with an OT and run the audio through an external effects chain before sampling. I am getting distortion when using pedals by EQD, Empress and others that hate the line level input.
