does the A4 accept MIDI input from a USB MIDI controller. I know it has a standard MIDI in port but wondered if you can connect a USB controller to it USB port and record what you play.

Another question: does the Elektron sequencer record your performance from and external MIDI controller

You cannot directly connect a USB MIDI controller to the A4 since it has no host port.

The sequencer will record notes and suitably mapped CCs from an external controller when in live record mode. :okej:
